Peamount United today became the first ever Irish women's side to emerge from the UEFA Women's Champions League qualifying phase following an emphatic 5-1 victory over Pärnu of Estonia.



Dublin's Peamount United were today (Tuesday) drawn against French Championship runners-up, Paris Saint-Germain in the round of 32 knock-out phase at the UEFA Women's Champions League draw which was held at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.


Peamount United coach Eileen Gleeson maintains her team's tag of underdogs going into tonight's UEFA Women's Champions League last-32 tie against Paris Saint-Germain won't diminish their ambitions of winning.
