CASTLEBAR Celtic host DLR Waves looking to continue their recent good form which saw the Mayo side reached the FAI Umbro Women’s Senior Cup Final then draw with Wexford Youths away last weekend.

The 2013 FAI Umbro Women’s Senior Cup Final between Raheny United and Castlebar Celtic will be played at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday, November 3, at 12noon. The FAI Ford Cup Final will also take place at the Aviva Stadium at 3.30pm that afternoon.

 The Football Association of Ireland (FAI) invites expressions of interest from clubs/entities who may be interested in participating in the Bus Eireann Women’s National League.

The successful applicants would compete in the 2014-15 Bus Éireann Women’s National League.

CASTLEBAR Celtic had an impressive 7-0 win in Lifford in the WFAI Cup last week and will be looking to take that goal form into Sunday’s game against Shamrock Rovers.




Republic of Ireland Women’s National Team manager Sue Ronan today announced a squad of 20 players for her side’s opening FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying game against Slovakia on Sunday, September 22, in the Carlisle Grounds, Bray, at 1pm. Ronan will reduce it to 18 for the away trip to Croatia on Thursday, September 26.
