Raheny and Peamount go clear on top of Bus Éireann WNL.  There was a flurry of goals in the dying moments of the entire Women’s National League games in round 7 of the fixtures. Some of which had dramatic outcomes for the teams involved.

Going in to week 6 of the Bus Eireann Women’s National League, Raheny were sitting top of the table with an undefeated record but this all changed after a 2-1 reverse away to Castlebar Celtic. Peamount survived a scare in Tallaght thanks to a late winner against Shamrock Rovers which saw them overtake Peamount to claim the top spot. Meanwhile, Cork returned to form with a victory over Wexford. It all adds up to an interesting run in over the next few months.

The BA Sport and Exercise (Soccer) course in IT Carlow was launched in August 2009. The course sees participants complete Player Development, Coach Education, Sports Science and Business modules over a 3 year degree programme.
