The So Hotels Women's National League Player of the Month for March nominees have been confirmed.

The 2019 So Hotels Women's National League season got underway in March with Shelbourne, Peamount United and Wexford Youths currently level on points at the top of the table.

Shelbourne, under the guidance of new manager Dave Bell, have made an impressive start with three wins from the opening three games and have seen two players nominated for the opening award of the season, Alex Kavanagh and Jessica Gargan.

Wexford Youths striker Rianna Jarrett is the third nominee for the award after another impressive start to the season, having featured in the 2-1 defeat to Italy for the Republic of Ireland Women's National Team this week.

So Hotels Women's National League - Player of the Month nominees

Jessica Gargan: Having returned from college football in America, the former Republic of Ireland Women's Under-19 international has made an impressive return to the Women's National League this campaign.

Alex Kavanagh: The midfielder is being played further forward this season by new manager Dave Bell and has flourished in the new role, contributing a number of goals and assists already this season.

Rianna Jarrett: The Women's National Team striker has started the 2019 season where she left the 2018 campaign, having recovered from injury, and featured for the Republic of Ireland in the 2-1 defeat to Italy.

The winner for the award will be announced next week.
