Aisling Frawley of Wexford Youths was awarded Continental Tyres Player of the Match for her contributions in this week's WNL featured match between Wexford Youths Women's AFC and Raheny United.

Frawley was a constant thorn in Raheny United's side throughout the game.  A player who has developed immensely in the WNL over the past few years and now a key member of the Youths team.

Her pace, driving runs and strong tackles at Raheny's full backs yesterday were too hot to handle. It was clear for all to see the excellent understanding and awareness of Frawley and the Youth's strike force of Carol Breen and Claire O'Riordan.

Undoubtedly, there were many players that could've been in contention for player of the match it was such a complete team performance. However, Frawley's contribution saw her assist in the creation of many of Wexford's chances but ultimately her two goals put Raheny to bed midway through the second half.
