Victories for  Peamount United, Raheny United and Castlebar Celtic in week 2 of the Bus Eireann Women's National League

Peamount United continued their impressive start to the Bus Eireann Women's National League with an astonishing 7-0 win over Wexford Youths.  Meanwhile, Raheny United earned a hard fought 1-0 victory over Cork Women's FC while Castlebar inflicted a resounding 5-1 win.

Peamount raced into an early lead against Wexford with two first half goals, through Irish International Aine O'Gorman.  Wexford were reduced to 10 players after only 15mins and Peamount went onto capitalise on the player advantage. International team mate Stephanie Roche scored her second hat trick of the season in the second half as Sara Lawlor and Grace Murray added to Wexford woes later on to make the score 7-0.

In Morton stadium, Rachel Graham's goal just before the interval was enough to see off a much improved Cork performance.   Katie McCabe set up Graham to shoot from outside the box, who calmly drove the ball past Rachel Mullins in the Cork goal.  Meanwhile in Mayo, Emma Mullin proved a handful for Shamrock Rovers, bagging two goals.  Emma Hansbury and Aileen Gilroy both chipped in to add to Castlebar's tally.  Laura Chambers second half goal proved only to be a consolation for the visitors.

Next week's fixtures sees Castlebar travel to Cork, Wexford head to Dublin again to face Shamrock Rovers and Raheny entertain Peamount.
