Continental Tyres Women’s National League side Shelbourne Ladies have announced Noelle Murray is set to move to Glasgow City FC.

Murray was crowned the Women’s National League Player of the Year for the 2016 season after helping Shelbourne claim their first League and Cup double.

The 27-year old will join up with Scottish Women’s Premier League who already have Republic of Ireland internationals Savannah McCarthy, Clare Shine, Ruesha Littlejohn and Keeva Keenan, in her first ever professional deal.

Murray has won five FAI Cup winners medals, three with Raheny United, three Women’s National League titles and has also played in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Shelbourne Ladies ended the statement saying: “We would like to sincerely thank Noelle for her outstanding contributions to the club and wish her every success for the future.

“We have no doubt she will be a huge success in Glasgow.”
