Bus Éireann Women’s National League Week 4 Preview

With the Bus Éireann Women’s National league table taking shape after three weeks of fixtures, the transfer window is now open again for clubs to boost their squads, and with teams eager to maintain or improve their results it all adds up to another exciting weekend in the Bus Éireann Women’s National League.

Raheny travel to the sunny south east as they face Wexford Youths who will be keen for their home support to be the 12th player, as they’ll have to dig deep against league leaders Raheny United. The Dubliners on the other hand will want to ensure their 100% record is kept intact following their 4-1 win over Peamount United last weekend.

Shamrock Rovers will benefit greatly from the re-opening of the transfer window as they bolstered their squad with new signings. The will host a Cork team who will be eager to turn their performances into points on the board.  Both sides are coming into the game on the back of picking up their first points of the season following draws last weekend.

Peamount United travel west to Castlebar, on the back of a derby defeat at the hands of Raheny last week.  However, an impressive Castlebar team will not be an easy fixture for the Dublin side. Celtic were unlucky not to come away from Cork with all three points last week and they also remain unbeaten in the league this season along with Raheny United.
