The Continental Tyres Women's National League fixtures for the 2018 season have been released.

The Women's National League will be a eight-team league in 2018 following the announcement of Limerick FC's acceptance into the top-level of women's football in Ireland yesterday.

The league will start on Sunday, March 11th with current Women's National League Champions Wexford Youths at home against former Champions Shelbourne Ladies, with kick-off at 2pm.

Republic of Ireland stars Karen Duggan, Claire Walsh and Aine O'Gorman have all moved from UCD Waves to Peamount United in the close season and they won't have to wait long before facing their former club, with the two teams set to play each other on the opening day.

Limerick will begin their Women's National League season at home to Kilkenny United whilst Galway Women's will host Cork City WFC.

UCD Waves are set to play their home fixtures at the UCD Bowl this season whilst Shelbourne Ladies will play the majority of their home matches at Tolka Park.

Limerick's home venue is set to be confirmed ahead of the start of the season.
