The Continental Tyres Women's National League Player of the Month for June nominees have been confirmed.

After the international break, there was only two rounds of fixtures in the Women's National League and one fixture in the Women's National League Shield.

Wexford Youths stretched their lead at the top of the league with victories over Limerick and title rivals Peamount United whilst Shelbourne Ladies also recorded back-to-back victories.

The three players nominated for the Women's National League Player of the Month award are:-

Erica Turner – UCD Waves

The Republic of Ireland WU19 international goalkeeper produced many fine saves as UCD Waves recorded back-to-back draws against Cork City and Limerick. Turner has nailed down the No.1 spot at Waves in an impressive season so far for the young keeper.

Rianna Jarrett – Wexford Youths

Rianna's third nomination for the award this season alone, her fine form continued in the league after her return to the Republic of Ireland international squad against Norway. A brace against Peamount and a hat-trick against Limerick, Jarrett has had an incredible season so far.

Roma McLoughlin - Shelbourne

After suffering an leg injury earlier in the season, McLoughlin returned to action and scored against Galway WFC. Her performances have helped Shelbourne Ladies keep their title challenge on track.

The winner will be announced later in the week and good luck to all nominees.
