Lawlor out of Austria friendly

Striker Sara Lawlor is out of Tuesday’s international friendly after injuring herself in a training match during the Republic of Ireland Senior Women’s Squad’s preparations for the game against Austria  Tallaght Stadium (7.30pm).



Senior Women’s Team defender Yvonne Tracy is set to reach a memorable milestone next Tuesday evening when the Republic of Ireland meet Austria at Tallaght Stadium (7.30pm) by becoming only the fourth Irish female player to make 75 senior appearances for her country.



Ronan announces Senior Women’s Squad to face Austria


Republic of Ireland Senior Women’s Team manager Sue Ronan has announced a 20-player squad for an international friendly against Austria at Tallaght Stadium on Tuesday, June 18, at 7.30pm.

Wexford Youths Women's FC player Lauren Dwyer, Castlebar Celtic's Sarah Rowe and U19 International Gemma McGuinness, all former participants of the FAI Schools 5-aside competition, were in the Aviva earlier this week to launch the National finals. 

AVIVA STADIUM will play host for the first time ever to this year’s Aviva Health FAI Primary School 5’s National Finals on Saturday, May 25 (12 noon to 3pm).

Peamount United retained the Bus Éireann Women’s National League Cup this afternoon at the headquarters of the Mayo Football League in Milebush, Castlebar.

The curtain draws to a close on the second season of the Bus Éireann Women’s National League on Sunday when the final of the League Cup takes place at Milebush Park between Castlebar Celtic and Peamount United (3pm).
