The inaugural season of the Bus Éireann Women’s National League reaches its conclusion this weekend. There is still plenty at stake in the 15th and final round with the top four positions still undecided.

Peamount Utd will win the league if they avoid defeat at home to Shamrock Rovers this weekend. Peamount will be determined not to slip up so close to the finish line but they will also be keen to put down a marker against a Shamrock Rovers side that they will face in the Bus Éireann Women’s National League Cup Final.

Raheny Utd will need to defeat Castlebar Celtic this weekend and hope that Shamrock Rovers upset Peamount to force the league to a play off decider. Castlebar will be licking their wounds after another heavy defeat at the hands of Peamount last weekend, they will look to their top scorer, Emma Mullin, to supply the goals that could give them a morale boosting end to the season.

Cork Women’s FC and Wexford Youths will play on Sunday with the prize of third place for the victors. Cork and Wexford are both in great form coming into this match and with players of the quality of Denise O’Sullivan and Cherelle Khassel on either team this is sure to be an exciting fixture to end the season.
