IT Carlow BA Sport and Exercise (Soccer) - Application Deadline May 1st at 17:00


Just a reminder that the Applications for the soccer course in IT Carlow will close on May 1st. Please encourage any interested players/ students to get their application in by this time.

No applications can be accepted after May 1st. Over the past 4 years IT Carlow have had numerous students, players and parents ringing and emailing in July and August looking to apply, unfortunately we cannot do anything for them, so if you can please spread the word about the application deadline that would be great. Thanks.

BA Sport and Exercise (Soccer) course applications close on May 1


Programme Outline

¨ The programme is a level 7 degree,  it is delivered by IT Carlow in partnership with the Football Association of Ireland (FAI).

¨ The aim of the programme is to provide an academic qualification with the opportunity to develop as a footballer and to obtain coaching qualifications

¨ A key element of the programme is the opportunity for students to gain coaching experience within various schools, clubs and FAI events.

Follow on study Opportunities

¨ Level 8 BA (Honours) Sports Coaching and Management CW858

¨ Applicants can apply to both the Level 7 course and the Level 8 course on the CAO Applications

¨ The level 7 and Level 8 run concurrently for the initial 3 years
