The nominees for the So Hotels Women's National League Player of the Year awards have been confirmed.

Peamount United were crowned Champions of the Women's National League after an incredible season where they claimed 18 victories out of 21 matches, with just one defeat.

Instrumental in their success in the 2019 campaign, Peamount United's Eleanor Ryan-Doyle and Megan Smyth-Lynch have both been nominated for Player of the Season.

The third nominee is Wexford Youths' and Republic of Ireland striker Rianna Jarrett who has scored 27 goals so far this season as Youths lifted the So Hotels Women's FAI Cup last weekend and finished third in the league.

The three nominees for Young Player of the Season has also been confirmed. Galway Women's defender Sadhbh Doyle has been nominated as well as Shelbourne duo Jessica Ziu and Emily Whelan.

The So Hotels Women's National League awards will take place on Saturday, November 16 at the Castle Oaks Hotel in Limerick. The awards will begin at 7.30pm with both awards set to be presented on the night as well as the Golden Boot award and the Team of the Season.
