To celebrate International Women's Day, a book capturing the first 10 years of the SSE Airtricity Women's National League has been made available for FREE online.

The 75-page book uncovers the great stories, characters and moments from the first decade of the top tier of women's football in the Republic of Ireland.

From reliving Stephanie Roche's FIFA Puskas-nominated Goal of the Year to the tale of two doctors returning to play in the League, it arrives just in time ahead of the 2021 season kicking off on March 27th.

Contributors include Marie Crowe (RTÉ), Joanne O'Riordan, Louise Lawless (The Irish Times), Sinéad Farrell, Emma Duffy (The42), Kathleen McNamee (ESPN), as well as former League players Marie Curtin and Clare Shine.

Featuring exclusive artwork from Barry Masterson, graphics by Paul Mladjenovic and design by Jessica Abhilash, the book was edited and brought to life by FAI Communications Manager Gareth Maher.

A select number of printed copies will be made available over the coming weeks.
