Continental Tyres Women's National League side Kilkenny United have been boosted by two new additions from Wexford Youths.

Goalkeeper Tamara Furlong joins the Kilkenny club as well as Rachel Hutchinson to boost Casey McQuillan's squad for the rest of the 2017 season.

Kilkenny currently sit in 7th position in the Women's National League and recorded their first-ever WNL victory against Galway United this month.

Both Furlong and Hutchinson played for Wexford Youths during last month's UEFA Women's Champions League campaign and will boost McQuillan's options heading into their fixture against Peamount United on August 5th.

Furlong started her Youths career in 2013 and helped the side to two WNL titles but has recently found first-team opportunities limited due to the form of Sophie Lenehan.

Hutchinson joined Youths in 2011 and has also lifted the WNL title with the club but will now boost Kilkenny's first-team for the remainder of the campaign.
